IS IT IDEAL FOR PASTOR TO THROW CHURCH MEMBER'S PHONE AGAINST THE WALL??

A pastor (name withheld) of a church (name withheld) that always caution his church member not to be coming to the church with cell phones. He preaches about this often and often just to sound warning to the congregation. On a faithful Sunday service, a church member took his cell-phone to the church because of his important calls. The phone rang while on vibration and the pastor sighted him dipping his hand in his pocket to bring out his cell phone. The pastor walked up to him, collect the phone, threw the phone against the wall, smashed it and then send the church member away from the church. Is this polite?
