TAKE THESE TO NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP

Before setting to NYSC orientation camp, do you know the requirements to gather before leaving your parent's house to the assigned Orientation Camp so that you will not be stranded or found it so disgusting for living. NYSC orientation camp is a gathering of youths from different background, culture, beliefs, ethics and way of life. You will meet different kind of friends that will affect you positively and negatively depending on the side you wish to join.
But have it at the back of your mind that it is not going to be convenient as you think and you are going to catch much fun if you permit it.
Below are the vital things you have to prepare yourself for before setting yourself out of your parent house to the strange land you might have not been to.
1. Call-Up Letter: This is the most vital document that you have to come go with to the various         posted Camp. Without this, you might be decamped or asked to go back home.
2. Statement of the Result or Certificate: This is a vital requirements that you have to go along with to the camp. Without it, i doubt your ability to stay in the camp.
3. School ID card: Every higher institutions issue Identity Card for their students. You have to go to the camp with yours. If peradventure you have lost yours, try to do solve the problem before setting out.
4. Personal materials (Bathing Soap, Washing Soap, tooth-brush, plastic cooler, plastic spoon, Mosquito net, small Gaari if you like it, role of sachet tea and milk; tin milk and tin tea might not be allowed into the camp). These are very essential because no one is not ready to borrow you his/her own.
5. Plastic bathing Bucket: Either you have to go or buy inside the camp, but you will surely need this aswell. I will urge you to buy yours inside the camp because it wouldn't be easy travelling with bucket. Though it is going to cost than that of outside the camp.
6. A Pair of White Canvas: Though NYSC is going to give you a pair of canvas and a pair of jungle boot, but trust me that the pair of canvas is going to spoil after wearing it for once. Just try to go with a pair. You can aswell buy water-proof canvas, this will also help you during the raining time.
7. White Knickers: You will need like 2-3 additional white knickers with the two that will be provided to you in the camp.
8. White Shirt: If you don't mind, you can buy just 2 packets of that 3in1 packet of white shirts. This will be an additional to the two that will be provided to you in the camp.
9. White Socks: But atleast 2 pairs of white socks along with you as you will also be given 2 pairs in the camp.
10. Photocopies of your documents: Make sure you go to camp with atleast 10 copies of each documents you have. The cost of photocopy in the camp is very outrageous compare to that of the community. I will urge you to go with your own photocopies.
11. Passport photographs: You might also need upto 10 passports in the camp. Make sure you go with enough.

N.B: Make sure you go to camp with a lockable back with good padlock. You will have to lock your bag each time you leave the room assigned to you....else, you might cry your nose as everything you relied on will be taken care of by your so called friends.
Also, make sure you have your own MyClearBag to hold your documents for you. Dont forget to go with Drugs and enough cash so that you will not be stranded.
